Testing backgrounds & text
- The colors go from 0.0 to 100 percent. The % sign is not needed
- Start with the background color. Change one color at a time (Red, Green, or Blue)
- For example, put 90 in the Red for background - hit submit
- Change in 10% steps until you get close
- Play with the other two colors to get what you want
- Repeat as necessary, then work on the text
- Check on other computers and lighting conditions

Not all fonts are on all computers (thankfully). An alternate (fall back) font would be displayed. | |
If you have MS Word, you can tag the font name in that selector, copy (Ctrl C), and paste (Ctrl V) in the above font field. (Not tested in other programs.)
This was designed for my clients to aid in design. Then it occurred to me that it might be of use to others with a few additions. If you have any suggestions to improve this - please let me know. The hex numbers are displayed to aid people designing their own site. Percentages are used because they are so much more readily understood <grin> by me. The font in the "First font choice" was chosen because the fonts at the end of the alphabet do not get enough attention.
